Today marks the official launch of Moore4Power (More than Moore for Disruptive Innovations in Power Electronics), one of Europe's most ambitious semiconductor R&D projects. Led by Infineon Technologies AG, a global leader in power semiconductors, this Chips Joint Undertaking initiative unites large entities, small and medium-sized enterprises and research institutes from 15 European countries to develop the next generation of smart, efficient and sustainable power electronics.

On may the 20th and 21st we our Moore4Power Kickoff meeting took place in Munich. Two days filled with collaboration, discussions, new ideas, and the first steps towards shaping the future of More-than-Moore innovation in Europe. Great to meet so many partners in person and officially kick off this exciting journey together.

Moore4Power brings together Europe’s leading expertise to turn More-than-Moore concepts into efficient, modular, reliable and secure power electronics for energy, mobility and industry.
The project is supported by the Chips Joint Undertaking and its members, including the top-up funding by the national Authorities of Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland, under grant agreement number 101252572. Co-funded by the European Union.
